Investment in Slovakia: Corwin sold bonds worth €23 million

Developer Corwin issued its bonds on the market, with sales carried out through the bank Slovenská sporiteľňa. This is the company’s second bond issue and has attracted €23 million in investments.
The bonds were sold out in less than two weeks, demonstrating investor confidence. The proceeds will be used to implement projects in Slovakia, as well as in neighboring Slovenia and the Czech Republic. Robert Mitterpach of Corwin commented on the successful fundraising and high interest in the bonds.

Features of the placement investment in Slovakia

Most of the excitement is related to the Palma project in Bratislava. Thanks to this project, the company can ensure the reliability of bond repayments. Palma exemplifies the opportunities that the Slovak market has to offer. The market is distinguished by its diversity and affordability, which is rare in Europe.
The sale of the securities took place under the following conditions:
– the company offered bonds with a nominal value of €1,000 each;
– the buyers were private and institutional investors;
– the annual interest rate was 5.2%;
– payments will be made in late November of each year;
– the payment period is 2025–2029.

The funds raised will provide the company with a solid foundation for developing projects, primarily in Palma. This project involves transforming an outdated urban area into a high-quality location that adheres to modern urban planning standards.
The uniqueness of the Palma project in the capital of Slovakia
The project has been well-received by Bratislava’s residents. Potential buyers and renters note the convenience of Palma’s proximity to the city center. Moreover, the area has good transport links, which is also considered a plus. Another advantage for tourists is that the location offers easy access to the Little Carpathian mountain range.
Spanning six hectares, the project will include residential and commercial properties. The site will feature spaces for recreation and cultural events. Renowned urban planners Jan Gehl and David Sim designed the master plan for Palma.
Currently, the developer is working to transform the site of an abandoned factory into a thriving neighborhood. Attracting investments will help speed up the process and ensure that buyers’ expectations are fully met.
