September 15, 2025

The CTPark Bor logistics center in the Czech Republic has been specially designed to meet the needs of DB Schenker

CTP has opened a renovated logistics center in the Czech Republic that previously served as a tire warehouse. The modernized CTPark Bor complex covers 17,500 square meters. It was designed specifically to meet the needs of the tenant, DB Schenker.
The large-scale renovation plan included several key changes that improved the facility’s class. Additionally, the project included constructing new administrative buildings within the center. This was the first step in the further transformation of CTPark Bor. The final complex will occupy 116,000 square meters and include six buildings. The facility is being built in accordance with high industrial standards and sustainability principles.

Features of the logistics center modernisation

Michael Kadlec from DB Schenker praised CTP’s professionalism highly. The developer organized its processes and those of its partner as efficiently as possible. Thanks to this, the logistics company was able to move into the new premises without any disruption to its operations. The company quickly established logistics flows and optimized operations in the expanded space. The main objective in transforming the outdated warehouse complex into a new center was to meet the tenants’ growing needs.

CTP focused its efforts on areas important to DB Schenker. These included creating a comfortable work environment for employees and improving operational efficiency. The developer achieved all its goals and provided new opportunities for business development.
During the center’s modernization, specialists paid special attention to implementing innovations, including:
– compliance with sustainability standards;
– energy for the facility’s operation is generated by solar panels located on the roofs of the buildings;
– charging stations for electric vehicles are located on the premises;
– the complex has direct access to public transport;
– the facility is certified according to the BREEAM Very Good standard, which confirms its energy efficiency status.
CTP representatives noted that they had succeeded in creating the most efficient workspace possible. This success is particularly noticeable when compared to the warehouse’s initial condition. The developer achieved this result through close collaboration with DB Schenker. The partners developed a joint vision for the new center, taking all the details into account. Each party made every effort to implement the plan.
The CTPark Bor project has strengthened the developer’s position in the Czech market. The complex is already one of the leaders in its category in the country. Once the planned work finishes, the center will be able to take its rightful place in the Central and Eastern European market. This, in turn, will increase interest from foreign investors. In recent years, foreign investors have become more active in the Czech market and neighboring countries.
