Despite the hype, fans of the club should not get upset in advance. According to the facility’s administration, the building has been put up for sale several times, but past attempts failed. Moreover, even if the deal is successful, the club won’t close unexpectedly and will please its clients with atmosphere and music for some time. The administration also promised to give a grand final concert.
It is well known that the club Griboedov will be fully functional until the summer, because until then, events are planned.
Griboedov is considered to be one of the oldest establishments in St. Petersburg. It was opened in 1996 in a building that was used as a bomb shelter in Soviet times. The club’s founders are musicians from the group “2 Planes”.

As the audience grew, the club itself was also changed. Terrace was completed, several new halls were opened, a bicycle garage, recreation areas, cafes and bars were equipped.
Griboedov’s opening day is considered to be St. Petersburg’s informal holiday. On this date, the club gathers a lot of people, and the administration thinks over its grandiose program.
